February 8, 20241. First you need to rinse, hull and chop 200 grams of fresh strawberries. This is about 1.25 cups of chopped strawberries. You can also use frozen strawberries if you’d like to make a thicker strawberry smoothie.
Add the fresh or frozen strawberries to a blender jar.
2. Then chop and add 1 medium to large banana.
3. Pour in ½ cup of lite coconut milk (not the thick cream). For a thicker smoothie you can add ¼ to ⅓ cup of lite coconut milk. Feel free to add any preferred plant based milk.
You also can add a sweetener, like raw sugar, palm sugar, coconut sugar or maple syrup, if you like.
4. Place the lid on the jar and blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is a bit too thick, add a splash of coconut milk and blend again
5. Pour into glass and serve the Strawberry Smoothie straight away. We suggest you garnish the glass with some sliced strawberries or chopped nuts or dry fruits.
